Beginning March 3, 2003, foreign registerd nurses applying to the certification program will have the option to take:
- the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) administered by ETS;
- the test of English for InternationalCommunication (TOEIC) administred by the Chauncey Group;
- the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Academic Module ( administered by Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the British Council and IDP Education Australia)
Passsing scores for options:
- TOEFL: 540 or 240 (computerized); TWE:4.0; TSE:
- TOEIC: 725; TWE:40 TSE:50
- IELTS ( Academic Module ONLY): 6.5
